GOLD-CONTAINING ENDOGENOUS MULTIMETAL DEPOSITS AND FLUID-MAGMATIC ORE FORMING SYSTEMS WITH MULTIMETAL SPECIALIZATION

Yu. G. Safonov

The current state of the problem of gold-containing multimetal deposits, its genetic aspect and applied relevance in particular is considered. The advisability of defining a multi-metal ore deposit as one containing ores of several metals in a small to medium size deposit volumes of each metal is substantiated. The delineation of mono-, bi- and multi-metal ore-forming proper (reflected in the mineral assemblages of ore deposits) and ore-generating fluid-magmatic systems guiding the origin of the former is also substantiated.

Key words: gold-containing ore deposit, ore-forming system, multimetal specialization.
